SOL installation by Koichi Shimizu

For Shimizu, Sun(Sol) represents the idea of origin and sharing. The Sun plays a key role in the survival of all living things; every one of us on this earth receives energy from the sun not only human being but also animal and plants. The Sun seeds life in us and fills our spirit by her eternal energy. Beyond our nationality and belief, we are all originated from the Sun and share the blessing. Artist wish to create space where we can share the borderless creativity seeded by the Sun, and create harmony to realize our origin.
SOL consists music, poems, photos and movie images of the Sun contributed by people around the world. Every contributor has different view and impression of the Sun, however when they share the same space and time, they create beautiful harmony.
